Shorts are 30 minute outdoor sessions and are booked first-come, first-served.

Payment Schedule *

Payment Schedule I understand that my non-refundable session fee is required at the time of booking to reserve my portrait session date and time.
Session Fee, Prints Products and Digital Files are Separate *

Session Fee, Prints Products and Digital Files are Separate I understand that all prints, products and digital files are purchased after seeing my proofs. I understand these prints, products and digital files are sold separately and are not included in the session fee.
Copyright *

Copyright I understand that all images taken by Pause Photography + Design ("Photographer") are protected by Canadian copyright laws and that it is illegal to scan, copy, print or reproduce print or digital files (including images from proofing galleries) without permission. I understand that the Photographer owns the copyright on all film and digital negatives and video files produced from the session. Any and all modifications to digital files must be done by the Photographer. I understand that the Photographer cannot be held liable for the actions of external print laboratories. In the event that I purchase digital images, I understand I have personal printing rights only. I agree that the Photographer is not held responsible for the quality of prints produced by external labs or my own printer from the digital negatives provided.
Completion Schedule + Online Gallery *

Completion Schedule + Online Gallery I understand I will receive a link to view my edited photos online within 2 weeks from my session date.
Proofing Galleries Active for 5 Days *

Proofing Galleries Active for 5 Days I understand there is a gallery re-activation fee of $50 (+GST) if I do not place my order(s) within these 5 days.
Retouching *

Retouching I understand any extensive edits requested such as body or clothing modification (a digital nip and tuck, double chin removal, fixing or changing hair, smoothing clothing wrinkles in Photoshop, swapping heads, changing or adding makeup or anything similar) will be on a case-by-case basis and is subject to a rate of $70/hr (+GST).
Image Retention *

Image Retention I understand Pause Photography + Design will retain all images that I receive in my online gallery for a maximum of 2 years, at which time all images will be deleted and removed from all Pause Photography + Design’s hard drives, backup drives and from any other back-up method used to protect data and images by Pause Photography + Design. I understand it is my responsibility to properly back-up any digital copies of my images that I may purchase. I understand that additional fees may be incurred if I require my images to be pulled from Pause Photography + Design’s archives.

A huge part of growing and building my business is through word-of mouth referrals as well as sharing the photos that I create, both on my blog, website and social media channels

Release I grant Rona-Marie Harvey o/a Pause Photography + Design ("Photographer"), her legal representatives and assigns, those for whom the photographer is acting, and those acting with her authority and permission, the absolute right and permission to copyright and use, re-use, publish, and re-publish photographic portraits, pictures or videos from the portrait session, and all individuals at the portrait session, including myself or in which I may be included, in whole or in part, or composite or distorted in character or form, without restriction, as to changes or alterations from time to time, made through any medium at her studios or elsewhere, and in any and all media now or hereafter known, for art, advertising trade or other purpose whatsoever. I also consent to the use of any printed matter in conjunction therewith. I agree that images from my session with the Photographer may be shown online as examples of the Photographer’s work. I hereby release, discharge and agree to save harmless Photographer, her legal representatives or assigns, and all persons acting under her permission or authority for this for whom she is acting, from any liability that may occur or be produced in the taking of said pictures or any subsequent process thereof, as well as any publication thereof. I hereby warrant that I am of full age and have every right to contract in my own name in the above regard. I state further that I have read the above authorization, release and agreement, prior to its execution, and that I am fully familiar with the contents thereof.
