I’m so excited to be offering my unique boutique style photography for your grad portraits this year! I know you’re going to love these genuine and expressive images. This page is designed to give you some helpful information to make your photo experience as easy and convenient as possible.

We’re offering you the option of 3 portrait looks or outfits: two of your choice, and one in your graduation cap and gown. You will have a total of 15 minutes portrait time available.

FAQs

Where are the portraits?

We’ll be photographing you on your school grounds. Cross your fingers for a gorgeous day, haha!

What makes this photography different?

My goal during my short time with you is not to force a cheesy smile. I’m looking for natural expressions, which will range from serious and pensive to natural smiles. Photos will be taken outdoors, but we will still strive for one “studio look” for your portrait wearing your cap and gown with focus on your face and expression.

What should I wear?

Grad Cap and Gown Photos: A button-down collared dress shirt looks best under your grad gown. Please style your hair in such a way that you will be able to wear a graduation cap. If you opt for more than one portrait look, your cap and gown photo will be done last, so we don’t mess up your hair with the cap.

Casual Photos: This is a great opportunity to let your personality shine! If you want to bring in something that represents something you were involved in or enjoyed throughout your schooling, feel free to wear or bring it! Many students choose a school team uniform, an instrument from band or prop from a favourite club. Layering your clothes with a pop of colour or an interesting texture will give you options and interest. We will be outdoors on school grounds, so outfit change options may be limited, depending on current provincial guidelines regarding access to the school itself.

Formal Wear Photos: If you’re hoping to wear your grad gown or suit/tux, I’d love to photograph you dressed to the nines!

Will there be class photos available?

You bet! A composite class photo will be available to add on to any purchase for just $5.

What quality are the prints?

Prints come on professional-quality paper with lustre coating.

When can I expect to see my photos?

Notification of your proofs will arrive to your email within 3 weeks of picture day (don’t forget to sign up below to get gallery release notices and reminders for picture day!). You’ll access proofs via a private, password protected online gallery. You will have approximately 3 images in both colour and black and white for each “look” or outfit you are photographed in to select from. Online galleries are open for 7 days. A late order charge of $10 is applied to orders placed after the galleries close.

How does ordering work?

After your receive your online gallery, you will have 7 days to place your order (there is a $10 late order fee to re-open your online gallery). Everything is viewed, ordered, and paid online, so there are no paper order forms to keep up with. You will have the option to purchase prints, image blocks, cool 3D photo shelves holding a metal print and digital images with printing rights.

Grandparents and other relatives may also place orders through the digital gallery!

Prints up to 8×12″ can be shipped to you via Canada Post for $12. Courier delivery for larger prints is $15 (+GST)

How much do packages cost?

We offer both print packages as well as digital negatives, where parents can print themselves. Packages start at $25, and our digital negative collections begin at $45. We also offer custom studio products, such as a keepsake frame to hold your portrait and grad cap tassel, image blocks, 3D photo shelves with a metal print and framed enlargements.

When will I get my prints?

Product orders will be processed and shipped via Canada Post (add $12) or courier (add $15) within 5 days from your order being placed. If you opt for school delivery for your print orders, please arrange pick up with the school office.

How will I get my digital files?

Digital file orders are processed immediately upon payment and a download link is sent to your email. You must download your photos within 7 days. The link will no longer work after 7 days.
