Hey there! I’m Rona-Marie Harvey, the person behind the magic that happens at Pause Photography + Design. I’m a visual content creator fuelled by caffeine, creative ideas, wine, chocolate, doughnuts and beautiful light (plain language version: I’m a full time family + child photographer and graphic designer, dividing my time between shooting fun family sessions on location and then drinking copious amounts of coffee and indulging in a few treats while editing those photos and flexing my design muscles).

My background in family photography gives me more than a few tricks up my sleeve that I employ to draw out each child’s individual personality while photographing them at your school or child care centre. I’m always looking to expand my bad “dad jokes” repertoire and regularly test my material out on the kids. I pride myself on capturing and creating natural and honest portraits of children, which sometimes means I have no shame when working to get a laugh or a giggle from whoever’s in front of my camera.

When it comes to picture day, I plan everything in advance and have things organized before, during and after we’re finished with the photos so there’s very little that I need you to do. You have enough on your plate, you don’t need to be collecting order forms or answering parent questions about photos. I do that all for you so you can focus on what’s important to you.
