Hello! I’m Rona-Marie Harvey, a visual content creator fuelled by caffeine, creative ideas, wine, chocolate, doughnuts and beautiful light. I come from a big family (5 siblings), love dogs, going for family bike rides in the summer and sledding in the winter. Soon, I’ll get the kids skiing or snowboarding, so I can get out there again, too! I bought a new snowboard, boots and bindings on a whim while I was pregnant with our oldest, and I still haven’t gone snowboarding. I imagine I’ll spend a lot of time falling down once I get back out there.
My husband is my biggest supporter and chocoholic enabler, while our two kiddos are full of so many shenanigans that they keep us on our toes and using our imaginations. When was the last time you pretended to be an alligator while you had a bath? One or both of them can often be found accompanying me on shorter shoots, assisting me in set up, take down, and – when needed – baby wrangling.
If we haven’t met in person yet, I hope we can sometime soon. It’s so much nicer to meet someone over a glass of wine or a cup of coffee, instead of reading your email or Instagram DM as I sip my morning coffee at my desk. I’m always looking for an excuse to try a new cafe or coffee shop around our city (bonus points if there a fresh pastries to try!).
I know how busy life and business can get. It’s all too easy to get caught up in the little things that suck your time and energy. My goal is to help you turn down the volume on all that “other stuff”, slow down and press pause for just a moment, to refocus; so at the end of the day, you have a visual reminder of what’s really important in your life.
