Summer Shorts 2021
I was so looking forward to photographing this little man. I had done his mama’s maternity portraits just a few weeks prior to his arrival, and we had the chance to connect through some fun and silly photos, as well as a few quiet portraits.
Liam was such a wonderful little man to photograph. His mama said he liked to sleep a lot, so lucky me! I mean, lucky mama 🙂 Here is a sample of some of our favourites from his session.
*PLEASE NOTE, several of these images are COMPOSITES, where I put two or more images together in Photoshop. Newborns are very top heavy, and don’t yet have the strength or stability to hold their head up on their own yet. Their little wrists are too small to support the weight of their head, and I’d never want to see a baby topple over in their portrait session, even if baby is surrounded by soft blankets and props. Please do not attempt this pose without proper training. A baby’s comfort and safety is always my primary concern. An example of a composite image can be found below.
